"Drapery Study"

After two years of oil painting, this was my first full painting to complete. After spending a couple of months on the drawing, four months on the underpainting, and six months on the final layer of paint, I finished the study in early 2019. Based on a still life, it was important I learned how to keep the position of my light and easel constant throughout the year-long process.
